Health & Social Services Program

Through a continuing partnership with the Solano County Health and Social Services Department, New Dawn Vallejo Corporation (NDVC) is able to provide childcare or supervision for infants and children as their parents attend the 6-8 week Black Infant Health and Mothers & Babies prenatal and postpartum groups.

NDVC continues to help provide support to mothers who are working to have good birth outcomes and assist to reduce the infant mortality rates.  The Black Infant Health and Mothers & Babies participants receive information on infant care, parenting, and medical conditions during pregnancy, advocacy and self-empowerment techniques. The goal of the programs are to reduce the infant mortality rates and improve access to healthcare.

NDVC also supports the program by hosting an annual Christmas Party for the program participants and their children.
