Holiday Basket Giveaway

Each year New Dawn Vallejo Corporation sponsors a food basket giveaway to families in need in the City of Vallejo at both Thanksgiving and Christmas time.

The baskets are filled with seasonal food, and provide enough food for a family to cook an entire holiday family meal.

The basket recipients have the option to pick up their basket, or have it delivered to them. Coordination and delivery is sponsored by Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with the support of the Vallejo Police Department, Solano County Sheriff’s Department, and Solano County District Attorney’s Office who assist with basket delivery each year as well as handing out the baskets the day of the event.

BASKET REGISTRATION DATES:

Thanksgiving Baskets: Monday, October 28, 2019 through Friday, November 8, 2019

Friday, December 13, 2019

Families receiving baskets* will receive a telephone confirmation and scheduled time for basket pick-up.

*Baskets are limited and are on a first-come-first-served basis
